Dedicated to the children and their brave protectors lost in Newtown, Connecticut.
Not Enough Angels
As I step into my day, a fog rolls across my feet and a cold wind touches my face.
My journey begins into the unknown. Yet no worries, an Angel watches over me.
Of this I want to believe.
No harm today, the unknown ahead is my opportunity.
Yet, my belief falters as I unite with others in the distraction.
Darkness falls by our own hand and Angels fade away leaving us to discover them anew.
We must come together and face the light. In each other’s eyes find our Angels.
Of this I want to believe.
This darkness must pass. If we believe … the darkness will pass.
What do you think?
